About this tool
This is an educational reference based on a public medical-symptom dataset (4,920 disease / symptom combinations from the open Medical Diagnosis Expert System repository). The lookup runs entirely in your browser — no data leaves your device.
The original research project used the CLIPS expert-system language with ~4,920 rules; this public version uses the same data with a simpler symptom-match algorithm. For all medical concerns, please see a qualified healthcare professional.
